Surface-mounted lighting is a versatile solution for spaces where luminaires are installed directly onto a ceiling or wall. As no recessed installation space is required, these luminaires are well suited to both new-build and refurbishment projects, including concrete ceilings and other situations where recessed lighting is not possible or preferred.

Surface-mounted lighting combines functionality with design. A major advantage of LED surface-mounted lighting is installation flexibility. Existing lighting points can often be reused without extensive ceiling modifications. Certain luminaires can also be mounted on either walls or ceilings, while some models offer optional suspended installation.
