Not every application can be solved with a standard luminaire. Specialist lighting is intended for situations where specific requirements apply to light output, beam distribution, mounting, environmental conditions or technical configuration.

ACIDUS supplies lighting solutions for specialist projects in industrial, technical, commercial and outdoor environments. Typical applications include difficult-to-reach locations, unusual mounting positions, specific beam distributions and areas where additional protection against moisture, dust, temperature or mechanical impact is required.

Specialist lighting can be used for industrial installations, ports, technical areas, infrastructure, storage facilities, production environments, logistics sites and marine applications. It can also provide a solution where standard street lighting, floodlights or waterproof luminaires are not suitable.

Depending on the application, different wattages, colour temperatures, beam angles, IP and IK ratings and mounting methods may be required. Certain luminaires may also offer options such as dimming, DALI control, sensors or specific power-supply configurations.

For specialist lighting projects, careful product selection is particularly important. The required light level, environmental conditions, mounting height, available space and technical requirements all influence the correct choice of luminaire.
